ERP440 Research in VET (8)

Abstract

The aim of this subject is to provide underpinning skills and knowledge to enable students to evaluate and critically apply research into their professional practice. The subject introduces students to the purpose, design and outcomes of practitioner research. Students analyse a recent relevant research report and develop strategies to implement this research into their practice.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

  • be able to articulate the principles that guide and underpin ethical research
  • be abel to identify and analyse issues of professional ethics relevant to research in the adult and vocational education field
