AbstractThis subject is the final subject in the Doctor of Public Policy. The subject requires candidates, on the basis of the research proposal submitted as part of GPM704, to conduct their research on a field within policing, law enforcement, public sector management or administration, public policy, or other relevant area, in conjunction with their supervisors. The results of these investigations are presented for examination as either a dissertation or a portfolio of research cases and exegesis. |

- be able to demonstrate an ability to critically investigate applied and theoretical problems in policing, law enforcement, public sector management or administration, public policy, or other relevant area; - be able to demonstrate the ability to apply the standards and skills developed during doctoral coursework to the completion of the doctoral dissertation or portfolio; - be able to demonstrate the ability to develop, implement and evaluate policy in an applied setting; - be able to demonstrate their capacity to produce written work of a very high standard. |
