Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- Interpret construction specifications (written and graphic) for landscape works. - undertake plant species selection and assess the quality of plant stock. - formulate site preparation and planting techniques to facilitate plant establishment and growth in a range of situations. - understand the scope and techniques involved in the management of different urban landscapes

Residential SchoolThis subject contains a compulsory 3 day residential school.
Purpose:
1) To familiarise students with the equipment, processes and practice of plant establishment in a range of commercial and domestic situations
2) To develop student skills in the practice of plant establishment and management
Activities:
Practical exercises, tutorials, demonstrations and field trips to clarify and expand on the subject matter presented in the subject's Mail Package.
