Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to provide an overview of a library or information agency relate library science and information management theory to practical situations; - have an understanding of and be able to evaluate the role and functions of the library or information agency, the community it serves, and the services it offers; - have an understanding of and be able to evaluate the technical operations and the organisation of the library or information agency; - be able to write an evaluative report on a particular aspect of the library or information agencies work; - be able to demonstrate suitability of the student for the profession and eventual job placement. |
