AbstractThis subject aims to assist students gain an overview of a library or selected information agency and relate the theory of librarianship to the practical work environment. It also helps in assessing their suitability for the profession and eventual job placement. It consists of three weeks (unless otherwise determined by the subject/course coordinator) practical experience in a given library or other information agency. |
