INF504 Research Literature & Project Planning (16)

Abstract

Students will develop their understanding of research in Information Studies through reviewing research reports and other relevant literature. Students will identify an area of interest, select and then study in-depth the literature, which will guide the development of a researchable topic and research questions or hypotheses for a small-scale project.  Through the literature, students will develop their understanding of research problems and the methodologies and methods that are used to guide research and inform project design.  The literature review will establish the parameters for student’s research and researchable question(s)/hypotheses to be explored in a small-scale research project in INF544.
