IRR401 Management of Irrigation Systems (8)
AbstractThis subject examines several approaches to irrigation scheduling; evaluation of irrigation methods that suits particular irrigation settings; design, management, and evaluation of irrigation methods and conveyance systems. Drainage and soil salinity. Computer simulation softwares for crop water requirement, irrigation scheduling, and irrigation system (gravity and pressurised) design and evaluation.
It's expected that students will have completed IRR200 or IRR400 before enrolling into this subject. This subject builds on the objectives completed in IRR200 or IRR400. |
