Abstract|
This subject builds on ISL462 and introduces further Arabic grammatical rules in verb forms and nouns as well as further practice in constructing words and sentences with verbs. Writing, reading, speaking and comprehension practice is included to build previously acquired proficiency. This subject provides foundations for further study in Classical and Modern Standard Arabic. |

- Classification of verbs between weak-ending (mo'atel al-akhar) and correct-ending (sahib al-akahar) verbs
- Constructive and classified (al-mabni and al-mu'arab verbs)
- Classification of verbs constructions and practice
- The different classification of Classical Arabic I'rab using excercises
- Nouns ending with long vowels and their classifications
- The Quadrilateral Verb and its forms (Voices, States, moods and numbers)
- The derivation of the nouns substantive and adjective
- The denominative nouns
- The gender of the nouns
