ITI212 Career Search and Communication (8)

Abstract

Effective interpersonal communication skills are a critical success factor in any role in today's information technology industry. This subject will demonstrate techniques for gathering and presenting information to a live audience or reader, including an interview panel. Students will learn how to construct written presentations, presentations that make use of software (such as slides), and presenting to an interview panel. Students will then use these skills to gather information about prospective employers and to pursue entry-level computer support positions within the ICT industry.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
