ITI506 Linux Enterprise Security (8)

Abstract

This subject covers how to perform detailed troubleshooting tasks for complex security problems. In addition to gaining the knowledge and skills students will need to design a secure SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server networking environment.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to configure packet filtering and network address translation;
- be able to set-up access control with proxy cache services;
- be able to set-up and configure a virtual private network;
- be able to configure Novell client firewall to safeguard VPN clients and other network resources.
