- Prison Security - Walls, fences, cells, technology, instruments of restraint, guard dogs, intelligence gathering and use, 'dynamic security'
- Classification of Prisoners and Sentence Management - Initial assessment and allocation, review and reclassification, identification of training and treatment needs, pre-release preparation
