MGT290 Project Management (8)

Abstract

This subject focuses on developing an appreciation and understanding of project management in the contemporary business environment. Project management has traditionally been very technically driven and the subject complements this important aspect of project management with both strategic project selection and implementation issues as well as sociocultural (people, culture and communication) aspects of successful project outcomes. The use of popular project management software platforms, as part of the subject and assessment process, also provides students with the opportunity for workplace learning and application.
