Abstract| This subject focuses on the major issues confronting westernised society in relation to developing sustainable business activities. The focus is on the sustainable management of the business resources: including economic resources, social resources and natural resources. Topics include: the sustainability debate explored in an Australian and global context; contemporary problems and historical perspectives on the management of human resources, the relationships between business and the natural environment, and the philosophical and ethical basis of business and its role in society. |
