Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
Be able to manipulate and evaluate information for decision making;
Be able to facilitate the identification, formalisation and management of projects;
Be able to develop skills in planning the stages of investing and financing projects and identify critical tasks in the information management process to ensure the objectives of projects investment are achieved;
Be able to analyse and interpret relevant operational performance reports that impact upon financial performance;
Be able to manage project cost information for the purposes of planning, controlling and measuring the outcomes of a project;
Be able to use budget to plan, control and communicate financial progress of a project. |

Managing Costs
The subject is split into six interlocking themes of 7 hours face to face duration. Though each team is a discrete learning area, there are inter relationships between the various learning areas. |
