NUT421 Nutrition and Dietetics Residency (16)
Abstract
This a 100% clinically based subject, which has a practicum consisting of two blocks of 5 week clinical placement in two separate locations. This practicum is where students are required to gain experience in the management of clinical cases. They will be expected, under collaborative supervision, to develop skills and abilities in client assessment and diagnostic decision making, care planning, implementation and evaluation. Students will also be required to demonstrate the achievement of entry level professional and clinical competence as defined by the 2009 Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) entry level competency, as assessed by the Accredited Practicing Dietitian supervising the placement. |

Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
