Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:

- Professional issues associated with crisis intervention - including vicarious traumatisation, compassion fatigue, debriefing, referral and supervision |

Residential SchoolThis subject contains a compulsory 2 day residential school.
The residential school for this subject will foster a supportive/safe environment for pracitical skills training, self-reflective practice and discussion of relevant subject material. It will involve roleplays, practice counselling sessions, experiential exercises, lectures and discussion groups.
