AbstractThis subject provides the theoretical and practice skills necessary for students who will specialise in health based counselling. It covers ethics, skills and strategies compatible with major theoretical counselling frameworks. It deals with counselling techniques relevant to working with children, couples and families, people with disabilities, or from diverse cultural and ethnic groups. It also identifies the special requirements for working with people at different stages of the life cycle. |

Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
