Admission criteria CSU Admission Policy
As well as the normal UAC requirements for a Bachelor of Information Technology course, all applicants must complete a supplementary application form. Eligible students will also be invited to participate in an interview with industry partners and Charles Sturt University staff before their admission to the coruse is confirmed.

Graduation requirement
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 128 points.

Choose 6 subjects from the following list in consultation with your Course Director and Industry Partner. Other subjects may be available with approval from the Course Director. The subjects chosen should cluster around a specific IT professional role – such as programming, systems administration, or project management. At least three of the subjects chosen should be at level 3.

Professional recognition
The Australian Computer Society (ACS) accredits courses in Information Technology to verify that they meet professional standards in terms of content, staff skills, teaching facility and quality assurance. The Bachelor of Information Technology (Business Services) has been accredited at the highest level of professional recognition by the ACS and this revised course will be submitted for reaccreditation once it has been approved by the Univerity. Reaccreditation of the course is required for the course every five years.
