Admission criteria CSU Admission Policy
Entry requirements will be composed of the UAI score and the PREP system.
- An appropriate UAI or achieving a pass or higher standard for tertiary studies spanning at least one semester (preferably in a science based program) or completion of a TAFE Associate Diploma or higher;
- Regional Bonus Points will be available;
- The following NSW HSC or equivalent subjects are assumed knowledge: English Standard and Chemistry or Biology;
- The PREP system will be used as part of the admissions process for entry in the B Oral Health;
- Applicants will be required to undertake an interview
Additional entry requirements for the Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene) are: current advanced first aid certificate, a criminal record check/working with children statutory requirement and notification of infectious disease status.

Articulation agreements
From 2014, an articulation with Holmesglen TAFE will see a cohort of 40 students commence the CSU Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene) in Holmesglen, Victoria. These students will complete the first year of the BOHT at the Holmesglen campus. The second year will integrate some clinical components with the Wagga students, while pre-clinical and theory will still be delivered from the Holmesglen campus. The final year will be fully integrated with the CSU course in Wagga. All BOHT students are enrolled with CSU and Holmesglen initially and graduate from CSU.
Professional recognition
This course is currently accredited by the Australian Dental Council until 31 December 2018.
