The Graduate Certificate in Industrial Relations program provides graduates with specialized knowledge in the Australian industrial relations system which will enable them to understand the legal context; roles of trade unions, employers, federal and state government; negotiation; mediation and conflict resolution skills; its relationship with other human resource functions as well as strategic contributions. The program is designed to produce graduates with the theoretical frameworks and analytical tools necessary to manage successfully, to act professionally and ethically in their chosen field and to add significant value to their organisations.

Admission criteria
CSU Admission PolicyApplicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Industrial Relations on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate, students will then be eligible for admission to a number of Masters programs offered by the Faculty of Business and receive credit for applicable subjects.
Graduation requirements
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
