ACT307 Acting, Voice and Movement 6 (8)
Abstract| Key learning areas in the Acting module include advanced work on characterisation, relationships, style, interpretation, performance techniques, stagecraft, and the actor-audience relationship. A further exploration of contemporary comedy and drama scenes will be worked towards a public performance for employment opportunities. The Voice module is designed to further consolidate and refine the voice work for professional practice. Individual tutorials will continue to refine individual awareness required in professional life as an autonomous actor. Vocally warming up a group of people for specific needs in rehearsal and performance will also be explored. The Movement module continues to develop methods of physical expression, animalisation, including its effects on physical change, energy and characterisation, and the devising of an innovative group physical theatre performance work. |
