Abstract
In this subject students will cover relevant aspects of the causes, nature and management of diseases of major body systems. This will include relevant discussion of the respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, hematological, immunological, neurological, renal, dermatological and musculoskeletal systems. This subject will also include aspects of oral medicine where the oral health and general health nexus will be addressed. |

- be able to demonstrate a knowledge of general and oral health issues of the Indigenous Australians

- Diseases of the gastrointestinal system including the liver
- Diseases of the cardiovascular system
- Diseases of the respiratory system
- Diseases of the endocrine system
- Diseases of the immune system
- Diseases of the central nervous system
- Diseases of the hematological system
- Vesiculo-bullous and erosive lesions of the oral mucosa
- White, red and pigmented lesions of the oral mucosa
