Abstract
This introductory subject gives an overview of how natural resources are managed by environmental scientists. Topics include an introduction to environmental systems, their multi-disciplinary and complex nature, and approaches to managing them. The subject has no residential school. On completion students have an comprehensive understanding of the nature of environmental systems and the ability to apply their knowledge and skills to make sound judgements regarding courses of action to achieve conservation in a range of contexts. |
