EPT327 Effective Teaching in VET (8)

Abstract

In this subject students will learn about, and operate within, policy and regulatory frameworks both governmental and organisational. Students will engage with theories relating to teaching, learning, assessment and evaluation and will link these to their practice. A practicum of 50 hours is included in this subject. This subject will include content from key Units of Competency from the TAE40110 Training Package.

Work Place Learning

This subject contains a Compulsory Workplace Learning component of 6 days duration. The workplace learning for this subject includes 50 hours of practicum  made up of the following components:
• approximately 10-15 hours delivery of teaching/training sessions;
• approximately 10-15 hours undertaking assessment tasks; and
• approximately 25-30 hours preparation of teaching/training sessions.
