EPT416 Teaching Internship (Secondary) (16)

Abstract

This subject seeks to extend the development of pre-service students to a point where, as interns, they are able to assume all the responsibilities, roles and expectations of beginning teachers. The subject draws together prior experiences in the pedagogical and educational strands of the course. These are integrated in the internship so that interns will develop into reflective classroom practitioners. Interns are required to demonstrate competence and proficiency as classroom teachers.
