Abstract

The subject approaches the language through a series of themed topics in daily life such as society, literature and arts, science and medicine. Each week, vocabulary is built on as various linguistic structures and strategies are introduced and practiced as an introduction to Arabic grammar.

Learning Outcomes

  • Vocabulary of common Qur'anic words
  • Attached pronouns
  • Detached pronouns
  • Pronouns attached to nouns
  • Pronouns attached to verbs
  • Singular, dual and plural nouns
  • Usage of adverbs
  • Time and seasons in Arabic
  • Reading simple passages in Arabic
