The Graduate Certificate in Human Services aims to provide an introduction to tertiary level study for experienced practitioners in the field of human services who do not have an undergraduate qualification. A secondary aim is to provide an entry level qualification into Master programs in the human services where the applicant either has no prior undergraduate qualification or has an undergraduate qualification but in a non-relevant field.

Admission criteria
CSU Admission PolicyEntry is open to applicants:
- with a relevant degree in the human services, social work, social welfare, the social sciences, health or related areas; or,
- with an undergraduate degree needing to complete pre-requisite subjects for purpose of applying to undertake the Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) degree; or,
- without a relevant tertiary degree but who have substantial human service experience (a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent) and whose employing body attests to their likely academic and vocational success.

Graduation requirements
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.
