The aim of this course is to enhance the capacity of participants to undertake leadership and management roles and responsibilities in a university. The course emphasises the leadership aspect of management to develop self-aware and reflective practitioners. The course explores various conceptualisations of leadership inviting participants to articulate their own leadership values and philosophy in alignment with CSU’s strategic mission. Theoretical perspectives on university governance and strategic management emphasise strategic thinking, analysis and action to assist participants in developing practical, but theoretically sound, project plans in order to accomplish their leadership.

CSU Admission Policy
Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience.
This program is only available for CSU staff.
Annual organisational eligibility requirements apply and these are advertised by the Division of Human Resources on an annual basis.
Credit
CSU Credit PolicyCredit may be given of up to 50 per cent of the course for subjects of similar content and level of study satisfactorily completed at another higher educational institution.
Graduation requirements
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points.

Enrolment Pattern
