ASC144 Equestrian Administration (8)
Abstract
ASC 144 covers the procedures rules and responsibilities of professionals involved in the national and international equestrian industry. The purpose of this subject is to establish a working knowledge of the rules relating to equestrian competition and the roles and responsibilities of professionals within the industry. Students gain an awareness of risk management, competition and clinic organisation and the factors influencing the viability of equestrian activities.
ASC144 includes the NCAS all aspects of the NCAS level1 general syllabus plus additional material. |

Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- Be aware of professional activities within the equestrian industry and the basic legal and business principles that underpin it. Students should also demonstrate a working knowledge of the current rules relating to equestrian sports governed by the Equestrian Federation of Australia and be familiar with the process and procedures associated with organising, conducting and competing in equestrian events.
