Abstract

This subject requires students to carry out an investigation of a topic selected in conjunction with
supervisors. The results of the investigation will be written up as a thesis and presented for examination.
A minimum of one paper for journal submission to communicate the research findings is required prior to
thesis submission.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to independently and critically plan and investigate an applied business problem leading to a significant and original contribution to business professional practice;
  • be able to develop and apply expert skills in a methodology appropriate to the needs of the research project; and
  • be able to disseminate the outcomes of their original research project though the drafting of journal articles and the production of a thesis.
