ECO517 Economic Evaluation (8)
AbstractEconomic Evaluation comprises the techniques by which projects and programs are assessed for their economic desirability. The subject introduces students to these techniques: cost benefit analysis, cost effectiveness and cost utility analysis and multicriteria analysis. It considers the ethical issues raised by the use of economic evaluation for decisions about resource allocation, and the kinds of decisions for which each technique is appropriate. Assumed knowledge for this subject is equivalent to that covered in ECO501. |
