EHR126 Sports Media 1 (8)

Abstract

Sports Media 1 introduces students to the historical and contemporary connections between sport and the media, as well as the industries of sports journalism and sports media. On the one hand, this means exploring the ways in which sports and all forms of media have changed each other and continue to do so. In fact, the possibility that it is now impossible to think about sport and the media as discreet social institutions is explored. On the other hand, students will learn about different and emerging forms of employment in sports journalism and sports media.
