Abstract| In this subject students will enhance their understanding of current emergency operations management and specifically what actions could be taken during the impact and post-impact phases of any emergency. This subject analyses how an actual emergency/disaster was managed and what appropriate changes or initiatives could be enacted to enhance the future management of a similar emergency/disaster. The subject also analyses the specific actions that should be taken during the post impact phase of an emergency to facilitate its effective management. |
