EMR408 PDHPE Curriculum and Pedagogy (8)

Abstract

In this subject students will learn about and learn to plan for, implement, assess and evaluate HPE in education settings. They will examine pedagogical approaches and models for teaching health and physical education curriculum and participate in learning experiences that focus on how to use a number of these pedagogical approaches to create effective instruction and positive spaces for learning in HPE. Students will employ key documents including the EYLF, Melbourne Declaration, HPE Curriculum, HPE Syllabi. They will develop a curriculum unit for movement education and a plan of action for addressing two health priority areas in a primary school setting.
