This subject aims to introduce leaders in Catholic schools to specifically Catholic understandings of leadership. This gives depth to their own approach to educational leadership and provides a context for their leadership within the Catholic church and its various school systems, locally, nationally and internationally. |

Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:

Comprehend and apply Catholic theology to the church’s world wide mission in education;

Effectively communicate a Catholic school philosophy to stakeholders;

Be able to correlate his or her own leadership with the Catholic vision of a world of justice and mercy;

Facilitate staff development to assure integrity on the delivery of Catholic curriculum;
