Abstract

This subject will introduce students to research strategies in the Human Services and teach them to interpret research findings as well as conduct research in their own right. The subject will examine various methods of research, both qualitative and quantitative. Within future practice, students will often need to conduct research or oversee the research of others. This subject will introduce students to this process. By the end of the subject they should be able to write a research proposal as well as be able to make sense of the findings of others.
