Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this subject, students should:
critically evaluate various nursery production techniques in relation to the appropriate and efficient production of quality containerised plants; have an appreciation of the following technical processes; greenhouse structures and environmental modification; nursery hygiene and its relationship to weed, pest and disease control; formulation and assessment of containerised growing media; fertiliser practice; and irrigation and water management in container nurseries. |
