INF545 Professional Reflection and Practice (8)

Abstract

This subject is a capstone experience designed to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate in-depth understanding of discipline knowledge in the professions, in the context of their subjects and/or specialisations, and to demonstrate application of knowledge and skills in professional practice or scholarship.  Students will also critically review and reflect on personal mastery of theoretical, cognitive, creative, practical, and technical skills gained in the course.

Enrolment restrictions

Student needs to have accumulated a minimum of 112 points prior to enrolment.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to apply discipline-specific learning outcomes in practice;
  • be able to reflect critically on theory and professional practice or scholarship;
  • be able to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving as it applies to practice;
  • be able to synthesise discipline knowledge to design, develop and deploy products, tools or strategies; and
  • be able to utilise their course-wide learning to enhance personal professional growth and industry understanding.
