JST312 Criminal Law and Investigation Management (8)

Abstract

The management of investigations is a forensic exercise governed by criminal law. It is a misunderstanding of this premise that induces process corruption. Within the principle and detail of the criminal law, the subject focuses on four illustrative management issues: crime scene control; exhibit control; victim care and preparation of the evidence for presentation at court. This subject examines these and other secondary management issues within the law of homicide, drug trafficking, sexual assault and property offences.
