LAW281 Organisations Law (8)
Abstract| Examines the modern law of commercial enterprises with a focus upon the law of corporations. Other types of business organisations, in particular partnerships, joint ventures, trusts and sole proprietorships are given coverage and compared with the corporation. Agency is examined under both the Doctrine of Ostensible Authority and the Law of Promoters. Insolvency is examined under the law pertaining to winding up. |

- be able to comprehend the law relating to the day-to-day operation of a corporation both internally and externally;
- be able to analyse the provision of the Corporations Law relating to Winding Up, Takeovers and the Securities Industry;
