MRS554 Magnetic Resonance Imaging Practice And Trends (16)

Abstract

This subject offers the theoretical components to the modality of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and also examines new techniques and applications of MRI.
The aim of this subject is to provide the theoretical bases of the practice, new techniques and applications of MRI scanning, and the mechanism to acquire information in order to perform as a professional in the field of MRI. Emphasis will be placed upon the scanning techniques, scan sequences and protocols, coil selection, clinical indications of the scan, pathology shown and patient management. Emerging developments, whether they be in clinical practice, contrast agents, equipment or safety practice, will be examined.
