PHC404 Paramedic Systems (8)

Abstract

The objectives of this subject will focus on the many aspects of paramedic services which determine the way that health care is delivered in a community. There are a multitude of factors that influence paramedic service delivery depending on the geography, demographics, and resources available to the community. The subject will challenge the learner to engage in an analysis of the limited literature in this area and to assess sources of information from other disciplines and to engage in an exchange of ideas with other members of the paramedic, emergency, and public health community.
