VPA301 Studio Production (16)

Abstract

This subject prepares students to work at professional level in a variety of roles through advanced level  productions relevant to their specialisation.  This includes graphic design, screen and stage production, and sound and music production. The subject aims to develop the creative and technical aspects of production through project work and through critical analysis to an industry standard.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
- be able to demonstrate practical expertise in their chosen area of production specialisation
- be able to develop ideas from concept to completion, with an emphasis on the production process and practice
- demonstrate and understanding of the process of program funding for independent productions
- be able to develop expertise in the organisation and management of production projects - Be able to demonstrate time and resource management
- Be able to demonstrate working effectively autonomously and in a team environment and meet deadlines
