Admission Criteria

CSU Admission Policy

Master of GIS and Remote Sensing

A completed Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a University or other tertiary education provider.
OR
A completed Diploma of at least 2 years in area of specialisation from a University or other tertiary education provider.
AND
Spatial sciences industry experience of at least 2 years.
AND
Minimum CSU English Language Proficiency requirements apply.

Students who complete the Diploma will be awarded 64 points of credit towards the masters

Graduate Diploma of GIS and Remote Sensing [Exit Point Only]
Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate in GIS and Remote Sensing will be eligible for 32 points of credit.
Graduate Certificate in GIS and Remote Sensing [Exit Point Only]
No special arrangements apply

Articulation

The Master, Graduate Diploma [Exit Point Only] and Graduate Certificate [Exit Point Only] make up an articulated set of courses and credit is given in each higher level course for the subjects completed in the lower.

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 96 points.
