Criteria
The prize will be awarded to the student graduating from either an Honours year in Psychology or the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology with the most distinguished record.
Eligibility
Enrolment in an Honours year in Psychology or the Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology.
Value
The successful candidate for the APS Prize will receive: a. A letter from the APS President that recognises the excellence of their achievements in studying psychology b. A certificate c. An offer of one year of complimentary membership of the Society provided that the successful Candidate makes an application for membership within three (3) months of receiving notice of their Prize. Any successful Candidate who is an existing Student or Associate Member of the Society will be offered membership of the Society for the following twelve (12) months at no cost d. An invitation to present a poster on their thesis at the APS Congress in the year following their nomination for the Prize or, in years when no Congress will be held, at another high profile event. If the successful Candidate accepts this invitation, their Congress/event registration fee will be paid for by the APS.
