This subject will focus students on the critical exploration of specific arts issues by providing an opportunity for concentrated research into the literature of their chosen field under the guidance of a supervisor. Students may investigate art historical
issues or choose to explore theory and practice of art as it relates to other disciplines such as literature, history, psychology, religious studies, sociology or cultural studies.

Development of a topic proposal
Compiling of an annotated bibliography
Draft stages of a major paper
Completion of a major paper
