ART502 Critical Reading and Research Subject (16)

This subject will focus students on the critical exploration of specific arts issues by providing an opportunity for concentrated research into the literature of their chosen field under the guidance of a supervisor. Students may investigate art historical
issues or choose to explore theory and practice of art as it relates to other disciplines such as literature, history, psychology, religious studies, sociology or cultural studies.

  • be able to critically evaluate the relationship of their chosen field to wider critical contexts
