As such it is an opportunity to examine the role of the veterinary technologist including legislation, professional obligations, ethical dilemmas and introductory business acumen. Ethical and welfare dilemmas are discussed during case based presentations. Students will have the opportunity to research a contemporary issue of relevance to the veterinary paraprofession and will undertake a review of the literature.
