This subject provides students who do not meet the criteria for Honours to undertake a research project related to a discipline area selected by the student, in consultation with academic staff, for an undergraduate Bachelor degree in the School of Animal and Veterinary Science. It is one of two, non-honours research subjects (ASC416, ASC432) within the School of Animal and Veterinary Science, which when combined with the Faculty of Science Special Topic subjects (SCI401, SCI402) allows a sufficiently flexible combination of subjects to reflect the subject equivalent load of their research project. Within these subjects, students will develop an increased knowledge in a nominated discipline, and develop research, verbal and written skills.
Students are required to have a GPA of at least 4 (pass average), and enrolment in a project is dependent on the availability of an appropriate project and approval by a project supervisor.
No offerings have been identified for this subject in 2018.
