This subject is intended for students who are enrolled in Graduate Certificate courses and have not studied at University level previously, but who have substantial relevant career and industry experience, or who have an older undergraduate degree where these skills would require an update. The subject is built around a core of generic study skills in information literacy, communication and writing skills, and skills in reasoning and critical thinking. The skills are demonstrated by addressing issues that pertain to the student's field of vocational study.
