This subject introduces students to the roles and responsibilities of stage and screen costume departments. Students explore fundamental research principles that underpin script and character analysis towards the conceptualisation and construction of stage and screen costume with a focus on design for performance. Traditional and non-traditional materials, sustainability, and design techniques to progress students from design-brief to realisation are covered.
